Winter holiday in Nassfeld

In winter, we welcome you with open arms in Nassfeld. Our apartments will satisfy even the most demanding visitors. Nassfeld is spread over three slopes connected by a pass. Together, they form Korutan, the largest and most modern alpine resort in Austria. The resort boasts 300 days of sunshine a year and thanks to its excellent infrastructure, facilities, service and diverse well-groomed skiing options (slopes, freeride, ski mountaineering, moguls and more), Nassfeld ranks among the top 10 Austrian ski resorts.

There is a slope for all skiers, no matter if you are a professional, an intermediate, a beginner or a family with children. With the Italian Dolomites just over the hill, Nassfeld gets plenty of sunshine (up to 100 hours more than the more northern Austrian ski resorts). We have a lot of snow because we are the first significant mountain range that captures most of the snow that blows in from the Adriatic.

The skiing season in Nassfeld starts at December and ends in mid-April. The lowest station of the Millennium-Express, Austria’s longest cableway, is in Tröpolach, 400 meters from our apartments.

What to do in Nassfeld in winter

There are 110 km of ski slopes – 60% of which are red slopes (easy 30 km, medium 60 km, difficult 20 km). 30 modern cableways will take you uphill comfortably with no lines. Although there is no shortage of snow, the resort is equipped with artificial snow just in case. You can try out the timed speed track below Troghöhe, the four-kilometer FIS slope above Tröpolach or the mogul slope at Gartnerkofel. There is also an artificially lit sled run, three specialized snow parks and a lot of room for freeriding.

Both Tröpolach and Nassfeld offers plenty of rental shops and equipment shops.
